Welcome to the UDC!

The CITEEC team took part this morning in the UDC Welcome Day, “Ola UDC”, held at the Mariña Dourada University Stadium, to welcome the new students of the University of A Coruña.

During the event, different UDC centres and associations presented their services, activities and capabilities, giving new students the opportunity to discover the opportunities offered by the University.

CITEEC took part with its mini-CITEEC models, an initiative that allows us to showcase some of the work carried out by our research staff in an engaging and accessible way. Through these models, we introduced students to how research and innovation in civil engineering, building and other fields contribute to addressing societal challenges and improving people’s lives.

Taking part in this event provided CITEEC with an opportunity to bring its research activities closer to new generations of students and to showcase the opportunities offered by research and innovation at the University of A Coruña.
