Next Thursday, July 9, at 11:50 a.m., the CITEEC Visualization Room will host a new edition of the outreach series “CITEEConto que facemos…!“. This initiative aims to showcase the research carried out at the center and highlight the projects led by its research groups, funded through various competitive R&D&I (Research, Development and Innovation) programmes.
This first session will feature two research projects addressing current challenges in sustainable mobility and the circular economy through innovative approaches.
Juan José Galán Díaz, a researcher in the CGM research group, will present the project “Artificial Intelligence and Automation Applied to Sustainable, High Value-Added Products Derived from Insects“, funded under the 2024 Public-Private Collaboration Projects call.
Next, Margarita Novales Ordax, a researcher in the FERROTRANS research group, will give a presentation entitled “Microsimulation, Geospatial Analysis and Data Science for Sustainable Mobility“, in which she will present a project funded under the 2024 Knowledge Generation Projects programme.
The “CITEEConto que facemos…!” seminar series will continue throughout 2026 with new sessions featuring researchers from CITEEC’s different research groups and laboratories, who will present the progress of their projects and research lines, offering a broad overview of the scientific and technological activity carried out at the centre.
