Viviana Barneche Naya

PhD Architect. Associate Professor (Profesora Contratada Doctora), member of the Advanced Visualization and Cartography Group at the University of A Coruña. Her research lines focus on the analysis and exploration of the potential of emerging real-time graphics technologies for application across different fields of knowledge. These include interactive and immersive visualization applied to architecture and engineering, archaeological and heritage reconstruction, museology, natural user interfaces, and user experience (UX) in 3D environments.
She was awarded the Architectural 3D Award 2011 for her work on the virtual reconstruction of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
