Ricardo Antonio Juncosa Rivera
He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). He belongs to the Water and Environmental Engineering Group (Hydrology and Applied Geology) at the University of A Coruña (GEAMA-HYGA). He is currently a Professor at the University of A Coruña (UDC) and leads the research group. He specializes in hydrogeological models and the hydrological and hydrochemical characterization of soils and water. His doctoral thesis focused on the development, application, and use of numerical models in groundwater, and he has participated in several European projects within the European Community’s Nuclear Fission program, sponsored by ENRESA, as well as in over 100 national projects funded by public and private entities. He has participated in projects belonging to competitive calls of the Ministry at the state level (CGL2006-01452 / HID, CGL2009-11258 / HID relating to hydrology (surface and underground), Xunta, at the regional level (PGIDT02PXIC 16201PN, 10REM003C,…).
