Paloma Funes García
Predoctoral researcher at the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering of the UDC, where she has been working with the gCons research group since the end of 2023. Research activity focused on the field of 3D printing of concrete, an emerging technology that promises to transform the construction sector through automation, efficiency in the use of materials and the reduction of environmental impact.
Graduate in Technical Architecture and Business Administration from the University of A Coruña (UDC) in 2022, she completed her academic training with a Master’s degree in Integrated Project Management. She is currently conducting research within the Eco3DConcrete project, focused on developing more efficient and sustainable construction solutions using 3D printing. Simultaneously, she collaborates on the 3DHealConcrete project, which centers on the design of self-healing concrete mixes adapted to additive manufacturing technologies.
