María Fernández Amado
María Fernández Amado holds a PhD in Environmental and Fundamental Chemistry from the University of A Coruña (UDC), specializing in Analytical Chemistry and environmental analysis, with over a decade of laboratory experience participating in numerous projects, contracts, and agreements. I am a member of the QANAP group and the University Institute of the Environment, where I currently work as a research support technician. I have experience performing tests within the scope of its accreditation (the laboratory is accredited by ENAC, No. 1051/LE1939), as well as supporting the technical management of this quality system. I also teach practical courses at the Faculty of Sciences, have taught two training courses on liquid chromatography, and frequently participate in outreach activities. My work focuses primarily on air quality and trace analysis (mainly of organic compounds), including the development and validation of methods, especially HPLC determinations.
