Luis Antonio Hernández Ibáñez
PhD in Architecture, University Professor. Coordinator of the Advanced Visualization and Cartography Group at the University of A Coruña (UDC). His research focuses on the application of advanced computer visualization and virtual and immersive environments in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Historical and Cultural Heritage, Museology, and Education, as well as the digital representation of territory, applying real-time techniques, natural interaction, and extended reality in more than 80 R&D projects and contracts with companies and public administrations. Founder of a technology-based company, founding member of the Spanish Society of Virtual Archaeology, and member of the editorial and scientific committees of several indexed journals and conferences related to Virtual Archaeology and its application in museums and cultural tourism. Awarded the 2011 Architectural 3D Award for his work on the virtual reconstruction of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
