Juan Luis Pérez Ordoñez

A researcher in the field of construction, he focuses his work primarily on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques to structural concrete, construction materials, structural testing, and the application of BIM methodology. Since 2001, he has participated in more than 30 competitive research projects. He has also collaborated on several technology transfer projects with companies and institutions in the aforementioned research field.

He is a member of the UDC Construction Group (gCONS).

He has completed 3 research stays (10 months) and has evaluated works in scientific journals (JCR) and in national and international conferences and an international book.

He has published more than 30 articles in international journals with impact factor, 12 book chapters, 35 communications at international conferences and 7 software registrations.

He has achieved 3 six-year research periods and 1 six-year period of knowledge transfer and innovation.

He teaches at the University School of Technical Architecture and the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineers. He is also an external professor (Universitat Politècnica de València – UPV) in the Master’s program in Continuing Education in BIM Management

He has obtained a positive evaluation in 3 periods (five-year periods) in the DOCENTIA Program
