Félix Sánchez-Tembleque Díaz-Pache

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (specializing in Industrial Construction, University of A Coruña, 1999), a master’s degree in Water Engineering (University of A Coruña, 2008), and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (University of A Coruña, 2014).

I am working as a Senior Mechanical Systems Technician (PTXAS Group A1) at the Center for Technological Innovation in Building and Civil Engineering (CITEEC) at the University of A Coruña (2001–present).

My work at CITEEC focuses on maintaining scientific infrastructure and instrumentation, as well as collaborating with the center’s researchers on experiment design, instrumentation campaigns, data acquisition, and the processing and communication of experimental data. I am also responsible for quality assurance and serve as the liaison with the occupational safety and health department.

For 15 years, I served as an Associate Professor at the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering (2007–2022), teaching courses in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Hydraulics.

I have participated in more than 20 projects funded through public calls for proposals and more than 30 major R&D contracts, four of which were international, primarily as a member of GEAMA. I am a co-author of eight JCR-indexed publications (four in Q1, two in Q2).
