Emilio Martín Gutiérrez
Doctor of Architecture (specialized in Building and Urban Planning), Second National Prize for Completion of Studies.
PhD in Architecture, with Extraordinary Doctoral Award.
University Senior Lecturer, with extensive teaching experience in undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses, as well as in workshops and seminars at companies and professional associations. His teaching activity is primarily linked to the fields of strength of materials, building structure design, and numerical analysis models applied to architectural rehabilitation.
Coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group on Architectural Structure Design – UDC.

A member of the research team in 11 competitive projects, and co-author of numerous books, JCR-indexed articles, presentations at national and international conferences, and patents and utility models related to the design of unique structures. His main interests and contributions are related to deployable structures and composite structural systems in architecture, seeking to combine strength performance with environmental considerations.
He has also held various management positions at the Higher Technical School of Architecture. He is currently an academic member of the Galician Commission for Reports, Approval, Certification and Accreditation (CGIACA).
