Marina De Miguel Gallo
Agro-food engineer, originally from Burgos where I completed my studies, happily converted to the hydraulic world thanks to the Master in Hydraulic Engineering and Environment carried out at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
I have experience in both the public and private sectors. Passionate about nature, I enjoy analyzing problems from different perspectives to understand them holistically. I particularly enjoy research, where I currently work, seeing it as a way to innovate and facilitate the transfer of practical tools to society.
Since March 2024, I have worked at the University of A Coruña, where I am part of the Water and Environmental Engineering Group (GEAMA) and the Center for Technological Innovation in Building and Civil Engineering (CITEEC). My work focuses on hydrological and hydraulic modeling, currently oriented towards the study of erosion and hydrological response in rural basins affected by fires, primarily using the Iber software.
