Carlota Fiaño Salinas

Carlota Fiaño Salinas is a Science Communication and Outreach Specialist at CITEEC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of A Coruña, where she received the Outstanding Undergraduate Award (2021), and went on to complete a master’s degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Production at the same university (2022).

Her professional career focuses on the creation and editing of audiovisual content, social media management, graphic design, digital marketing, and corporate and institutional communication. Between 2023 and 2025, she served as an instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences at the University of A Coruña, during which time she also published research articles on television audiences and new media.

Furthermore, she has a strong interest in the environment, sustainability, and social responsibility—areas she seeks to integrate into her professional practice and the projects she collaborates on. Her approach combines science communication with the promotion of values that contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future.
