From Cuenca, Ecuador. A civil engineer by training, specializing in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, with a focus on water resource management and flood risk assessment. Passionate about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and an amateur programmer. Experienced in public and private projects related to water engineering in both Ecuador and Spain. Currently, I work as a predoctoral researcher in the Water and Environmental Engineering (GEAMA) group, affiliated with CITEEC. My dissertation focuses on studying the effect of data scarcity on flood models and proposing modeling strategies for these types of scenarios.
