Ana María Rodríguez Pasandín

Ana Mª Rodríguez Pasandín holds a PhD in Civil Engineering. Since 2020, she has been a tenured professor in the area of ​​”Transport Engineering and Infrastructure.” She belongs to the “Roads, Geotechnics and Materials” (CGM) research group and coordinates the “Roads” educational innovation group. Her main lines of research are related to sustainable bituminous mixtures for road pavements (e.g., warm mixes, semi-warm mixes, gravel emulsions, cold in-situ recycled materials, bituminous mixtures with recycled aggregates, bituminous mixtures with industrial waste, etc.) and bio-binders (e.g., the use of biopolymers such as lignin, alginate, and suberin).
