Ali Al Behadili
Ali Hilo is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) postdoctoral researcher at CITEEC, Universidade da Coruña (UDC). His work encompasses fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphase flow, and heat transfer. His MSCA project, “Complete Numerical Strategy for Surrogate Modeling of Offshore Wind Turbines with Monopiles,” advances offshore wind energy by coupling high-fidelity CFD with surrogate models and machine learning to accelerate design in nonlinear wave and current regimes. Previously, he spent three years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Flow-Induced Noise and Cavitation Control Laboratory (FINCL) at Chungnam National University (South Korea), focusing his research on cavitation, underwater noise reduction, and multiphase flows. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
